Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus Kilimanoor organized College Day VYUHA 2K24 on 27 April 2024. Parents, Alumni and students from other colleges were invited for the function. Sri. Chandhunadh renowned Film Actor was the Chief of the occasion.
The programme started at 10:30 AM with an invocation to God. Mr. Ajmal. A, S8 ME & Chairperson Senate welcomed the gathering. Brig. K. S. Shaji Director of VAST TC delivered the Presidential Address. He also extended his warm welcome and gratitude to all and appreciated the effort and dedication shown by all staff members and students for making this VYUHA 2K24 happening.
The College Day celebration VYUHA 2K24 was formally inaugurated by Sri. Chandhunadh with a lamp lighting ceremony followed an inaugural address. He remembered his college days, student life and his journey as a Teacher before becoming an Actor. He motivated the students to go behind their dreams no matter how hard they need to work; one day everyone will achieve their dreams if they work sincerely. Mr. Chandhunadh also extended all his wishes to students gathered and his support towards VYUHA 2K24 to be a grand success.
Dr. Thilakan. H Head of the Department, Mechnical Engineering, Dr. Jayarenjini. N, head of the Department Electronics and Communciation Engineering, Dr. Jayanthi. L. S Head of the Department Applied Science also extended their wishes and support towards the event.
Dr. Pravin Rose. T, Coordinator, Placement Cell & Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was honored on the occasion for the Cell’s effort behind achieving a remarkable placement of 196* for the 2024 pass out students. Still the count is increasing steadily.
The Women’s team of our college participated in the Inter Zone Women’s Football Championship Organized by APJAKTU. VAST TC Secured third position in the Competition. The students were honored on this grand occasion.
At the end of the Inaugural Function, Ms. Avani A, S8 Civil Engineering and Vice Chairperson Senate delivered the Vote of Thanks. After the Inaugural Function, around 12 Noon, the College day function “VYUHA 24” commenced with cultural events.
The Pro Show started at 5 PM. The show marked a fabulous evening by roping various artists from all over Kerala. Jassie Gift, MHR, Thamarassery Churam, Gi Fly Band, DJ Sonu and DJ MNX presented energetic performances to the gathering. The event was attended by nearly 2000 people. The show got over by 9:20 PM.
