On 12th August 2025, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, Technical Campus, Kilimanoor, organized a one-day industrial visit to CAPESTART Software Pvt. Ltd., Nagercoil. A total of 54 students and staff members participated in the programme.The visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices by providing students practical exposure to software development processes, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
The students found the sessions highly informative and motivating, gaining a better understanding of software industry operations and career opportunities. Faculty members also appreciated the interaction with industry professionals, recognizing its value for future academic industry collaborations.
