The NSS Unit 324 of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus (VAST TC) successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 1st August 2025 in association with Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram.

The camp was formally inaugurated by Dr. T. Mathavaraj Ravikumar, Principal of VAST TC, followed by a welcome address by Mr. Sajeer. A, NSS Programme Officer of VAST TC. The dignitaries who attended the occasion and conveyed  their wishes included Dr. Bhavya Sree, Dr. Shouvik Vasu, Mr. George Paul (Coordinator of SCTIMST), and Director of VAST TC Brig. Shaji K S. The session was concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Shahabas. S, NSS Volunteer Secretary.

The camp received an excellent response from the campus community, acheiving 115 registrations and 82  successful blood donations. The medical team from SCTIMST appreciated the efforts of the organizers and remarked that, to their knowledge, this was a record number of donations in a single- day camp. Their acknowledgment greatly encouraged all participants.
