Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus celebrated its much-awaited College Day, VYUHA 2K26, with great enthusiasm and participation. The event witnessed the presence of parents, alumni, and students from various colleges, making it a vibrant and memorable occasion.

The programme commenced at 10 AM with an invocation, setting a serene tone for the day. The gathering was formally welcomed by Indrajith S M (S8 CE & Chairperson, Senate). The Presidential Address was delivered by T Mathavaraj Ravikumar, Principal of VAST TC, who appreciated the dedication of both staff and students in organizing the grand event.

The function was inaugurated by renowned film actor Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, who served as the Chief Guest. The inauguration included a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony followed by an inspiring address. He interacted warmly with students, emphasizing the importance of formal education and encouraging them to pursue their goals with commitment. He also expressed his support for the continued success of VYUHA in the coming years.

The event was further graced by distinguished dignitaries including K S Shaji, Director of VAST TC; Jayarenjini N, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering; Avinash G S; Anitha Vijayan; and V Prasad. All extended their best wishes for the grand success of the event.

The inaugural session concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Rushda Salmath (S8 CSE & Vice Chairperson, Senate).

The celebrations continued into the evening with an electrifying Pro Show starting at 5 PM. The stage came alive with energetic performances by popular artists including Vidhu Prathap, DJ Ujwal, and Rish NK. The performances captivated an audience of nearly 2000 attendees, creating a festive atmosphere on campus.

The event concluded at 9:20 PM, leaving behind unforgettable memories for everyone present. VYUHA 2K26 stood as a testament to the spirit, unity, and cultural vibrance of the VAST TC community.
