A team of S7 Computer Science and Engineering students of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus, Kilimanoor, Ashish Jacob Shaiju, Arsha Mohan, Anisha A. V and Abhijith S, has successfully published a research paper titled "SignBridge AI: Real-Time Sign Language to Speech Conversion System" in the International Journal of Engineering Research & Technology (IJERT), Volume 15, Issue 06, June 2026. The publication was officially registered on 2 July 2026 and received on 13 July 2026.

The research work was carried out under the guidance of Ms. Ashily M. Baby, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The paper presents an AI-powered real-time system that converts sign language into speech, aiming to bridge communication gaps for individuals with hearing and speech impairments.

The publication highlights the students' active participation in research and innovation while reflecting the Department of Computer Science and Engineering's commitment to promoting research-driven learning and technological advancement.
