The Department of Civil Engineering successfully organized ‘Alumni Meet – 26’ on 17th May 2026 in association with the Association of Vidya Alumni, Kilimanoor. The event was conducted virtually through Google Meet at 7:30 PM under the theme “Come, let’s relive, rejoice and reconnect.” The programme aimed at reconnecting alumni with their alma mater, strengthening professional relationships, and promoting interaction among alumni, faculty members, and students. The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. K. Sargunan, HoD, Department of Civil Engineering. The meet witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni belonging to various batches and professional sectors, along with faculty members and current students. Alumni shared their career experiences, professional achievements, and valuable industry insights during the interactive sessions, making the programme informative and engaging. The event also provided a platform to discuss future collaborations, student mentorship initiatives, and strategies to strengthen alumni engagement activities. The active interaction among participants added warmth and vibrancy to the gathering. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Rini Madhavan Rajeev, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of the organizing team and the enthusiastic participation of all 36 attendees.
