The IEEE Student Branch of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus (VAST TC), in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, organized a hands-on workshop on “SPICECAD” on March 13, 2026. The workshop aimed to provide participants with practical exposure to SPICE-based circuit simulation and design tools.

The session focused on equipping students with essential skills required to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize electronic circuit designs using SPICECAD. Through practical demonstrations and guided exercises, participants gained a better understanding of circuit simulation techniques and design validation.

The workshop was handled by resource persons Ms. Subi O Kuttan (S8 ECE) and Mr. Akshay G K (S8 ECE), who guided the participants through various features and applications of the software.

The event was coordinated by Ms. Lekshmy S, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, and Mr. Adish Suresh (S8 ECE). The program is part of the IEEE SB VAST TC’s continuous initiatives to promote skill development and technical learning among students, aligning with IEEE’s mission to advance technology for the benefit of humanity.
