The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a 6 day Add-on Course on “Machine Learning using Python” on February 2026, for the 2023–27 Batch ECE students in association with Nfacto Tech Solutions, Trivandrum. The session was handled by Dr. Nandan S., Assistant Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, as the resource person.

The course was designed to strengthen students’ practical knowledge and technical skills in Python-based machine learning techniques. Key topics covered included data preprocessing, model development, and implementation of machine learning algorithms through hands-on learning sessions.

The programme served as a valuable supplement to the regular academic curriculum by introducing students to industry-relevant tools and real-world methodologies. Through this add-on course, participants gained practical exposure and enhanced their readiness for advanced engineering applications and emerging technological domains.
