A notable academic achievement has been recorded at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus, as a team of students from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering successfully published a research paper in the reputed International Journal for Multidisciplinary Research (IJFMR) on 10 April 2026.

The student team, comprising Srijith S, Muhammad Rafi, Rahul R S, and Harish B, carried out the research under the guidance of Ms. Shyna Nazar, Assistant Professor, Department of ECE. Their work demonstrates a strong emphasis on sustainable and eco-friendly technological solutions.

The paper, titled “Solar Power Autonomous Rover for Beach Shore Waste Management,” proposes an innovative system that utilizes solar energy to operate an autonomous rover designed for efficient waste collection along coastal areas, addressing critical environmental challenges.
