The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, under the Coding Club, organized an online Coding Quiz Competition on 15 September 2026 at 8:15 PM. Coordinated by Prof. Neenu Mol B S, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Faculty Coordinator of the Coding Club, the initiative aimed to evaluate technical aptitude, strengthen problem-solving skills, and encourage competitive programming enthusiasm among students. The individual assessment challenged participants on core computer science subjects, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS), Python from fundamentals to practical applications, key concepts in Machine Learning, and Computer Networks.

Students from multiple academic branches actively participated in the event, showcasing strong interdisciplinary engagement. Following a comprehensive evaluation of scores, Abhishek George Shaiju from S3 Mechanical Engineering secured the first prize with a cash award of ₹500, followed by Hanna N Zain from S3 Civil Engineering winning the second prize of ₹200, and Arshad SP from S5 Computer Science and Engineering taking the third prize of ₹100. The quiz concluded successfully, celebrating academic excellence and inspiring continuous learning across disciplines.
