Dr. K. Sargunan, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, completed the NPTEL Online Certification course on “Railway Engineering” offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee during the January–April 2026 session. The 12-week course was conducted through the SWAYAM–NPTEL platform under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The faculty members of the Department of Civil Engineering, Ms. Rini Madhavan Rajeev (Asst. Prof), Ms. Anjali Saji (Asst. Prof) and Ms. Nayana Gopan (Asst. Prof), completed a 4- week online NPTEL course on “Drone Surveying” during the February–March 2026 session. Along with the course completion certificates, the faculty members also received certificates from the Faculty Development Programme (FDP).
