The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of VAST TC organized an Alumni Talk on Ace Your Placement: Tips and Tricks for Success for 8th semester students (2021-2025 batch) on 17th January 2025 from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The Convener of this program was Dr. C Brijilal Ruban, HoD CSE, VAST TC and the Coordinator was Ms. Beena V R, Assistant Professor, Dept.of CSE, VAST TC. The Resource person of this program was Mr. Praveen P (2018-2022 Batch Alumnus), Software Engineer, Litmus 7 Systems Consulting Pvt Ltd, Kochi. The Program started at 8.30 PM. The welcome address was given by Ms. Beena V R. Dr. C Brijilal Ruban, HoD CSE, introduced the resource person and explained the importance of the program to Students. After the presentation by the HoD, Mr. Praveen explained about different selection rounds of companies and how to practice coding. Also, he explained the logic of two problems. He talked about the importance of language selection while coding and advised students to learn and focus on any languages they have flexibility to use. Another point he explained was the importance of doing an internship. Along with CSE faculty members 33 Students from the 2021 Batch attended the program. The program was interactive and informative. Positive responses received from students. The program ended on 9.30 PM with vote of thanks by Ms. Jisha Raj T, Advisor, S8 CSE.
