The final year students of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus organized the fresher’s day programme for the first year students (2024 -28 Batch) on 24.10.24, Thursday, from 09: 30 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m., at the college lobby. The entire event was coordinated by Mr. Midhun S. S. (Asst. Prof – ME) and Ms. Rini Madhavan Rajeev (Asst. Prof – CE). The event began with a welcoming speech by the Director, Brig. K. Shaji and Principal, Dr. T. Mathavaraj Ravikumar. This was followed by lighting the lamp, where the director and the principal were accompanied by all the heads of the department.The morning session consisted of events by the first year students. Mr. Mahadev (S1 CE) delivered a short thank you note to the organizers of the event and expressed his gratitude on behalf of all the first year students.The afternoon session began with a fusion programme and ended with a ‘Thambola’.
