The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 324 of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus (VAST TC) celebrated Teachers' Day on 5 September 2026 by honouring educators for their outstanding contributions to the field of education.

As part of the celebration, Dr. Ansamma John, Principal, VAST TC, was presented with a memento in recognition of her 34 years of dedicated and distinguished service in teaching, reflecting her exemplary leadership and lasting contribution to academic excellence.

Mementoes were also presented to the Heads of Departments in appreciation of their commitment to teaching and academic leadership. Those honoured were Dr. Jayarenjini N (HOD, Electronics & Communication Engineering), Dr. C.Brijilal Ruban (HOD, Computer Science & Engineering), Dr. Pravin Rose T (HOD, Applied Sciences), Dr. K. Sragunan (HOD, Civil Engineering) and Prof. Chandu E. S (HOD, Mechanical Engineering).

Speaking on the occasion, NSS volunteers highlighted the significance of Teachers' Day and expressed gratitude to the faculty members for their invaluable role in nurturing students and building a knowledge-driven society.

The programme was coordinated by Prof. Sajeer A, NSS Programme Officer, Prof. Sreelakshmi M, Assistant NSS Programme Officer, and NSS Volunteer Secretaries Ms. Sooryananthana S. R and Mr. Karthik S.The NSS Unit also conveyed its heartfelt Teachers' Day greetings to all the teachers of VAST TC in recognition of their dedication, guidance, and selfless service.
