The Department of Civil Engineering organized a six-day Short Term Training Programme (STTP) on “Building Information Modelling: From Design to Digital Twin” from 24th to 29th November 2025 (9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.) at the Mechanical CAD LAB in offline mode. Ms. Nidhu S S (Asst. Prof., CE) and Ms. Nayana Gopan (Asst. Prof., CE) organized the event. A total of 10 faculty members attended the event.

The primary objective of this STTP was to enhance the technical proficiency of participants in Building Information Modelling (BIM) using Autodesk Revit and to familiarize them with modern digital workflows in the construction industry. The technical sessions were handled by expert trainer Ms. Seena S G, Technical Operation Manager, BIM LABS, Thiruvananthapuram, who delivered comprehensive hands-on sessions ensuring real-time software experience and project-based learning.
