The Department of Civil Engineering organized an Appreciation Certificate Distribution Ceremony to recognize the outstanding performances of students who participated in the Civil Tech Fest LIVIC 2026. The ceremony was held on 13^th March 2026 at the CE Seminar Hall, celebrating the creativity, teamwork, and technical excellence demonstrated by the participants during the fest.

The certificates were distributed by Dr.K.Sargunan, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, who congratulated the students for their innovative ideas and active participation. The event served as an opportunity to appreciate the efforts of students who showcased remarkable projects, models, and presentations during the fest held earlier on 3^rd February 2026.

Several students were honored for their outstanding achievements in various events. In Transito, the Best Project Award was presented to Ms. Brijili L and team (S4 CE) for their impressive model of Kannur Airport, coordinated by Ms. Rini Madhavan Rajeev, AP CE. In Tekton,              Mr. Fayas J S (S8 CE) received the Best Project Award for his detailed model of the college campus, under the coordination of Ms. Midhila M, AP CE.

In Aquavista, the Best Project Award was awarded to Mr. Aarish Krishna and team (S2 CE) for their Dam model, coordinated by Ms. Pooja M Vijay, AP CE. The Best Project in Ecostruct was secured by Ms. Hanna N Zain and team (S2 CE) for their innovative model on Urban Heat Island, guided by Ms. Adheena V S, AP CE.

Additionally, the Best Presentation in LIVIC – Materials Expo was awarded to Ms. Geethu M Nair and team (S6 CE) for their excellent presentation and technical explanation, coordinated by Ms. Nayana Gopan, AP CE.

A special recognition was also given to “Mechanics Era”, which was selected as the Best Event of LIVIC 2026. The event was coordinated by Ms. Anjali Saji, AP CE, with Ms. Surya Nandhana (S2 CE) serving as the student coordinator.
