The Department of Civil Engineering in association with RACE (Regal Association of Civil Engineering students) and AVAK (Association of Vidya Alumni Kilimanoor) organized an interactive and informative session for the third and final year students (2021 and 2022 Batch) of the department, ‘CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE GCCCOUNTRIES’ on 21/01/2025, Tuesday, from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. The event was organized and coordinated by Ms. Rini Madhavan Rajeev (Asst. Prof., CE). A total of 67 students attended the event, which was held at the ME Seminar Hall (SB 615). The session was handled by the guest, our proud alumnus, Ms. Darsanapriya (2019 – 2023 Batch alumnus) who currently works as a Junior Civil Engineer at MMC BuildingContracting LLC, Dubai, UAE. All the faculty members in the department played a major role in the successful completion of the programme. The session started with a welcome speech at 2.00 p.m. by Dr. K. Sargunan (HOD, Dept. of CE). He introduced the speaker to the students with a delightful speech. The event coordinator then welcomed the students, speaker and faculty members at 2.10 p.m. Thespeaker then began her session at 2.15 p.m.
