DEPARTMENT OF CSE CONDUCTS SESSION ON CO-PO MAPPING

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a faculty development session on Course Outcome (CO)-Program Outcome (PO) Mapping on 23 July 2026, to strengthen outcome-based education practices and enhance the quality of academic planning. The session was handled by Ms. Vindhya Vijayan, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and IQAC member, who provided a comprehensive overview of the preparation and effective utilization of the CO-PO mapping sheet in accordance with academic and accreditation requirements.

The session focused on the systematic formulation of Course Outcomes, their alignment with Program Outcomes, appropriate mapping levels, and best practices for preparing CO-PO mapping sheets. Practical examples and interactive discussions enabled faculty members to gain a deeper understanding of the outcome-based education framework and its implementation in curriculum delivery and assessment.

All faculty members of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering actively participated in the session. The programme served as a valuable platform for enhancing faculty competency in outcome-based education and ensuring consistency in the preparation of CO-PO documentation, thereby contributing to continuous academic quality improvement.
