The NSS Unit of VAST TC organized a cleaning and passenger awareness programme on 27th September, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. at Varkala Railway station as a part of ‘SWACHHTA PAKHWADA’ and SWACHHTA HI SEVA campaign,  an initiative by the the Govt. of India, to observe Gandhi Jayanti. 24 NSS volunteers participated in the event which involved cleaning of the railway station surroundings and spreading awareness among the passengers at the station on the importance of cleanliness in public transportation systems which was coordinated by Subheeshdev S. (S6 ECE). Ms. Varsha V. S. (Asst. Prof - CE) and Mr. Arun Lohidakshan (Asst. Prof - ME) also attended the programme.
