As part of the placement enhancement initiatives in the Mechanical Engineering Department,  Mr. Akhil Sajeev, an alumnus of the ME (20-24) batch and currently serving as a Quality Engineer at Motherson Company, interacted with the final-year students. The session aimed to provide valuable insights into the professional world and inspire the students to prepare for their career paths effectively.During the interaction, Mr. Akhil Sajeev shared his journey at Motherson Company, highlighting his experiences, challenges, and learnings as a Quality Engineer. He also emphasized the importance of technical skills, industry readiness, and effective communication in securing a successful career in the engineering sector.It was noteworthy that last year, eight Mechanical Engineering students from the department were placed in Motherson Company, setting a remarkable benchmark for the current batch.

The program was coordinated by the Placement Officer, Dr. Praveen Rose (HOD, EEE Department), and Mr. Arun K. L. (HOD, Mechanical Engineering Department). Their efforts in organizing such sessions reflect the institution's commitment to enhancing the employability of its students and bridging the gap between academia and industry.The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where students actively participated, gaining deeper insights into the career opportunities in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
