The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus (VAST TC), in association with IEDC VAST TC, successfully organized an insightful seminar titled "Unlocking Innovation: An IPR Seminar". The session aimed to educate students and innovators about the significance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and the importance of protecting innovative ideas.

The keynote speaker for the event was Mr.Nimal Farhan Aripurath, a distinguished alumnus of VAST TC and a student of LL.B (Hons) Intellectual Property Rights at the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur. His session provided valuable insights into various aspects of IPR, including patents, copyrights, and trademarks, empowering students with the knowledge to safeguard their innovations.The seminar witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, and aspiring entrepreneurs, making it a highly interactive and informative session.
