The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully organized a five-day virtual workshop titled “Python Kickstart: Fundamentals for Beginners” from 25th May 2026 to 30th May 2026. The program was conducted online through Google Meet from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, targeting 12th-grade students interested in learning programming fundamentals.
The workshop aimed to provide participants with a strong foundation in Python programming, covering essential topics such as variables, data types, operators, control structures, functions, and basic problem-solving techniques. The sessions were led by Ms. Ashly K. John, Ms. Seenamole J, and Ms. Haritha P. G, Assistant Professors of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from 47 students, who actively engaged in the interactive sessions and hands-on learning activities. The participants gained valuable exposure to the fundamentals of Python programming and developed an understanding of computational thinking and coding practices.
The successful completion of the workshop reflects the department’s commitment to promoting technical knowledge and nurturing young minds with emerging technological skills. The Department extends its sincere appreciation to all the participants for their active involvement and looks forward to organizing more such outreach and skill-development programs in the future.
