A notable academic achievement has been recorded by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) with the successful publication of a research paper in a reputed international journal by a student project team. The work was carried out under the guidance of Ms. Sreejitha S G (Assistant Professor, ECE) and Mr. Chandu C B (Assistant Professor, ECE).

The project team comprised students Devayani J, Saptha Sanil, and Sreelekshmi Y, who showcased strong research aptitude, dedication, and effective teamwork throughout the study. Mr. Chandu C B also played a key role as the project coordinator, ensuring smooth execution of the research activities.

The research paper, titled “Hybrid Precoding and Companding Framework With Dual Noise Cancellation for PAPR and BER Optimization in Multi-Variant O-OFDM VLC Systems” was authored by Sreejitha S G, Chandu C B, Devayani J, Saptha Sanil, and Sreelekshmi Y.

The paper was officially published in the International Journal of Research and Analytical Reviews (IJRAR) on February 21, 2026. The study focuses on improving system performance in Visible Light Communication (VLC) systems by optimizing key parameters such as Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) and Bit Error Rate (BER), making it a significant contribution to ongoing research in next-generation communication technologies.
