The Civil Engineering Department recently organized a one-day seminar, “Foundation to Fusion - An Orientation to Civil Engineering”, focusing on career opportunities and the life journey of a civil engineer on 05/07/2024 from 9:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at CE Seminar Hall (SB 812). The notable guests of the event were Ms. Mariyath Yousaf, M.Tech in Geoinformatics, CET (2018 - 22 graduate), Mr. Akshay S, Managing Director at Seamless Architects and Developers, Thiruvananthapuram (2015 - 19 graduate) and Er. Prijeesh S, Managing Director at Rajadhani Constructions and Career Academy. This event was coordinated by Ms. Rini Madhavan Rajeev (Asst. Prof - CE) and Ms. Pooja M Vijay (Asst. Prof - CE) and was aimed to provide both current and potential students with valuable insights into the field of civil engineering.

The seminar was attended by a total of 20 students and their parents, who were also given the opportunity to visit the Civil Engineering Lab and the college library. These visits provided both students and their parents with a first-hand look at the state-of-the-art facilities and resources available at our esteemed and honourable institution with great satisfaction. The program was concluded by the vote of thanks session by Mr. Lenin Babu.
Overall, the seminar and lab visit program was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended and further strengthening the appeal of our Civil Engineering Department.
