The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus, Kilimanoor, conducted Offline Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Meetings the S7 B.Tech CSE batch on 11 September 2026. The meetings were chaired by Dr. C. Brijilal Ruban, Professor & Head, Department of CSE, with the participation of staff advisors, subject teachers, and parents. The meetings were coordinated by the respective staff advisors and faculty members of the batches.

The meetings primarily focused on reviewing the students’ academic progress, classroom participation, attendance, and performance in internal assessments. The staff advisors and subject teachers discussed the students’ strengths and areas requiring further academic attention. Faculty members emphasized the importance of regular attendance, consistent classroom participation, systematic study habits, and active academic engagement. Parents were also given an opportunity to share their observations and feedback regarding their wards’ academic performance and overall progress. The PTA meetings provided a valuable platform for parents to interact with faculty members, clarify concerns, and receive guidance regarding their wards’ academic progress and overall development. The sessions concluded with a shared commitment between the department and parents to support the students in their academic activities, examination preparation, and overall development.
