The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus, Kilimanoor, organized an enlightening Tech Talk on the topic “Orientation – Professional Opportunities through SAEINDIA” on 10th October 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Mechanical Engineering Seminar Hall.
The resource person for the session was Dr. Chacko Preno Koshy, Joint Secretary, SAEINDIA Cochin Division. Dr Koshy delivered an inspiring lecture emphasizing the wide range of professional prospects and benefits available to engineering students through active participation in SAEINDIA. He underscored the pivotal role of technical societies in shaping students’ careers, enhancing technical competence, and bridging the gap between academia and industry.
The event was organized under the banner of Mechanical Arms, the Mechanical Engineering Association of the college. The session offered valuable insights into how SAEINDIA fosters innovation, technical excellence, and networking opportunities for aspiring engineers.
